Tafraout & Mirleft (apr'06)

In Easter 2006 I spent some days in the south of Morocco again; a pretty perfect trip, with some days in the mountains and some on the coast; here some sights around Tafraout, in the Moroccan anti-Atlas:

that's Jbel el-Kest; do you recognise the lion head on top of the mountain? Amazing!

already on the coast, the chilled-out village of Mirleft, which has several stunning beaches around...

Marrakesh

Marrakesh is only 4 hours away from Rabat by train so I spend here the weekends from time to time; there's lot to see & a lot to do at night...

Eternal Place Djemma el-Fna at dusk and more...

skiing in Morocco?

Yes, it is possible! 1h 20min drive from Marrakesh you get to Oukaïmeden where you can ski in January & February.

Have a look at some pics of Oukaïmeden...

Rabat

Mohamed V avenue, Oudaya Kasbah & beach, Medina...
some highlights of the city where I live; it´s not a huge city but still there is some stuff to do.
